Culoarea lunii aprilie este una dintre preferatele noastre, asa ca, urmând sfatul colegei mele de master, Ina, am hotărât să "dau din casă" şi să vă arăt ca primă amenajare dormitorul nostru. E drept, odată cu venirea Smarandei lucrurile s-au schimbat destul de radical şi nu în favoarea spaţiului, aşa că poze doveditoare n-am.
 The April color is by far one of our all-time  favorites, so, following Ina, my school colleague's, advice, I decided to show you some insights - the first proposal is the design of our own bedroom. It is true that once Smaranda arrived things have changed quite radically and not for the benefit of the space, and as a consequence there are no photos to show you how it used to be.

In 2007, când am început amenajarea, ne-am hotărât asupra acestei palete de culori, şi încă ne place.
Back in 2007, when we started decorating, we chose this color palette and we have liked it ever since.

Pereţii au fost acoperiţi cu vopsea lavabilă în trei nuanţe de verde, creînd un joc de dungi orizontale care amplifică spaţiul. Acelaşi model l-am reluat în dormitorul familiei BuBu, dacă vă amintiţi.
The walls were covered with paint in three shades of green, creating a  horizontal stripes pattern that amplifies the space. The same pattern was used for the BuBu family bedroom.

Pardoseala este acoperită cu parchet masiv de stejar, baiţuit într-o nuanţă care imită wenge-le. Nu am vrut covoare sau carpete, a fi aglomerat inutil spaţiul.
The floor is covered with massive oak parquet, stained in a wenge-like color. I didn't want any carpets there, as I thought that they would unnecessarily clutter up the space.

Mobilierul din PAL este realizat în nuanţe de wenge şi zebrano nisip, şi este adaptat la centimetru spaţiului disponibil.
The furniture is wenge and sandy zebrano and it's custom made for the available space.

Accentele violete de culoare au fost aduse în principal cu ajutorul textilelor: cuvertura de pat şi pernele şi cele două rânduri de perdele.
The purple accents  are the textiles, such as the bed cover and the throw pillows and the double curtains.

Tablourile alb-negru cu lalele sunt o "pauză" bine-venită de la explozia cromatică.
The black and white pictures contrast with the chromatic explosion.

Corpurile de iluminat sunt din aceeaşi gamă şi au formă de globuri clare învelite într-o împletitură de sârmă cromată.
The lights are from the same range and they are clear glass spheres covered with a thin chromed wire net.
