Red spot kitchen

Fără introducere, că mi-e şi ruşine să mă mai scuz, vă arăt pozele bucătăriei pe care am lucrat-o în iulie şi al cărei proiect îl aveţi aici.
Without any introduction, as I am ashamed to even excuse myself, I will show you the pictures of the kitchen I had been working on in July. The project is here. 

Small kitchen and hallway project

Când am preluat proiectul de amenajare al garsonierei lui Mathieu, mi s-a spus ca trebuie să mă ocup de mobila de bucătărie. Şi atât. Bineînţeles, la faţa locului, lucrurile s-au dovedit a fi mult mai complexe, astel că m-am pomenit cu întregul proiect în braţe,şi, de ce să nu recunosc, asta m-a bucurat foarte tare. Pentru că, deşi Mathieu a recunoscut cinstit că în materie de amenajări el nu cunoaşte decât o singură culoare, albul, şi că garsoniera nu-i chiar casa de vis, deci investiţia nu trebuie să fie mare, mi-a lăsat mână liberă să mă desfăşor în ceea ce priveşte designul şi culorile.
When I took over Mathieu's studio remodeling project, I was told that all I had to do was the kitchen furniture. On the spot, of course that things proved to be a lot more complicated, and I found myself in charge o the whole project and I must admit it made me happy. Although Mathieu honestly told me that in terms of home design the only color he knows is white and the studio is not his dream home, so the investment should be minimum, he gave me total freedom of choice for colors and design.

Red spot

Surpriză, surpriză! Azi vă arăt în sfârşit paleta de culori pe care am folosit-o în amenajarea pe care tocmai am încheiat-o. Fiind vorba despre un spaţiu mic, am ales non-culori, neutre şi un accent reprezentat de viitoarea culoare trendy  pentru interioare, roşul.

Surprise, surprise! Today I will finally show you  the color palette of the interior I have just finished designing. As I had quite a small space to deal with I chose non-colors, neutrals and an accent in the interior trendy-to-be-color, red.

Paleta se numeşte Red spot şi, pe lângă roşu, culoarea-vedetă, conţine  tandemul alb-negru,  îndulcit de nuanţe ale materialelor naturale: gri şi bej în diverse nuanţe şi saturaţii.

The palette is called Red spot and, besides red, includes the black and white tandem, sweetened by natural shades of gray and beige in various tones and saturation.

Nici să nu vă imaginaţi cumva că v-am uitat, însă traversez o perioadă tare aglomerată - sesiune la master, amenajare în curs, erupţie dentară- suprapusă cu îmbolnăvirea computerului de pe care lucram.
Don't even think that I forgot you, but I am going through a very busy month - exams for my master's degree, ongoing interior remodeling project , baby teething - and techincal problems with the computer I did my work on.

În plus, voi reveni în forţă cu poze şi poveşti despre cel mai recent proiect la care am lucrat, precum şi cu ideile de amenajare cu care am rămas datoare.
Still, I have some good news for you. We will soon launch www.ideasboutique.ro, so I'm unpatiently waiting for your suggestions so that the site would be really interactive. In addition, I will come back with pictures and stories from my latest project, as well as with all the decorating ideas for May and June that I haven't posted yet.

Divide et impera

Mă gândesc de ceva vreme să scriu un articol despre paravane, pentru că sunt atemporale şi extrem de funcţionale şi versatile. Ascund, pun în evidenţă, obturează, luminează, decorează, depozitează, susţin, personalizează.
I've been thinking for a while about writing a post on room dividers, as they prove to be timeless, functional and versatile. They hide, highlight, obturate, lighten up, decorate, store, sustain, personalize.

Envy my bedroom

Vă povesteam aici că am folosit paleta Deep purple envy pentru amenajarea dormitorului nostru, şi că, odată cu venirea pe lume a Smarandei, amenajarea iniţială a fost modificată în conformitate cu noile nevoi.
Some time ago, I was telling you here that we have used Deep purple envy for the design of our own bedroom and that since Smaranda was born, the original design of the room had been changed according to our new needs.

Colour of the month - May

Pentru luna mai am ales culori puternice şi nu neapărat în ton cu anotimpul. Timpul acordat votului va fi puţin mai scurt decât de obicei.
Vă aştept cu comentarii în care să-mi spuneţi ce tip de amenajare aţi vrea luna asta.
I have chosen strong colors for May, but not according to the season. The voting time is going to be shorter than usual this round.

April 3

Am întârziat peste măsură de mult cu această postare, dar motivele au fost cât se poate de obiective: n-am avut timp de bibilit şi pace! Şi cum vorba lungă, sărăcia omului, zic să trec la fapte şi să vă prezint cea de-a treia propunere de amenajare pentru luna (ha!ha!) aprilie.
I am unpardonably late with this post, but I was held back by totally objective reasons, such as a tremendous lack of time. To cut the long story short, I'd better get moving and show you the third design idea for the month of (ha!ha!) April.
