Envy my bedroom

Vă povesteam aici că am folosit paleta Deep purple envy pentru amenajarea dormitorului nostru, şi că, odată cu venirea pe lume a Smarandei, amenajarea iniţială a fost modificată în conformitate cu noile nevoi.
Some time ago, I was telling you here that we have used Deep purple envy for the design of our own bedroom and that since Smaranda was born, the original design of the room had been changed according to our new needs.

April 3

Am întârziat peste măsură de mult cu această postare, dar motivele au fost cât se poate de obiective: n-am avut timp de bibilit şi pace! Şi cum vorba lungă, sărăcia omului, zic să trec la fapte şi să vă prezint cea de-a treia propunere de amenajare pentru luna (ha!ha!) aprilie.
I am unpardonably late with this post, but I was held back by totally objective reasons, such as a tremendous lack of time. To cut the long story short, I'd better get moving and show you the third design idea for the month of (ha!ha!) April.

Field of coral este paleta de culori pe care am folosit-o pentru cea de-a doua amenajare a lunii aprilie.
Interiorul este gândit aproape de stilul shabby chic, cu mobilier patinat şi accesorii reinventate.
Field of coral is the palette that I used for the second April design idea. The interior is close to shabby chic, with antique furniture and reinvented accessories.

Pentru cea de-a doua amenajare a lunii aprilie, am ales o paletă de culori în care am combinat verde şi corai. Abia aştept să vă arăt şi rezultatul final.

For the second April design idea I chose a palette of greens and corals. I can't wait to show you the final result!

April 1

Culoarea lunii aprilie este una dintre preferatele noastre, asa ca, urmând sfatul colegei mele de master, Ina, am hotărât să "dau din casă" şi să vă arăt ca primă amenajare dormitorul nostru. E drept, odată cu venirea Smarandei lucrurile s-au schimbat destul de radical şi nu în favoarea spaţiului, aşa că poze doveditoare n-am.
 The April color is by far one of our all-time  favorites, so, following Ina, my school colleague's, advice, I decided to show you some insights - the first proposal is the design of our own bedroom. It is true that once Smaranda arrived things have changed quite radically and not for the benefit of the space, and as a consequence there are no photos to show you how it used to be.

Deep purple envy

Paleta de culori pe care am folosit-o pentru prima propunere de amenajare a lunii aprilie este destul de în vogă la momentul actual, însă în 2007, când am decis să o folosim pentru dormitorul nostru, era cel puţin neobişnuită. Asta pentru că "îndrăznea" să combine două categorii de nuanţe care "nu se potrivesc" - tonuri de verde şi tonuri de violet.

The color palette that I used for the first April design proposal is quite popular these days, but back in 2007 when we first decided to use it for our bedroom it was at least unusual, as it "dared" to mix two color categories that apparently "don't go well together"- greens and purples.
